Ricky Gervais will continue his New Material Nights residency in London with four new dates announced for later this month and next.

The award-winning comedian and actor will return to Leicester Square Theatre on March 30 and 31, then again on April 7 and 8. Tickets go on general sale at 10am this Friday (March 27).

The comic restarted his New Material Night shows again in January, playing eight that month, the same in February and so far in March (including tonight's performance).

Gervais is assumed to be testing out material for a new stand-up show, the follow-up Mortality, which is currently streaming on Netflix and earlier this year earned him a Golden Globe for Best Stand-Up Performance.
