Due to demand, Ricky Gervais has added another Manchester show to his Legend Tour.

The award-winning comedian, actor and writer has confirmed a third night at the O2 Apollo on October 12, adding to his previously scheduled shows at the venue on September 22 and 23.

The tour will also visit Guildford, Cambridge, St. Albans, Woking, Basingstoke, Watford, Aberdeen, Birmingham, Brighton, Cardiff, Sheffield and Newcastle  between September 1 and December 10.

Netflix has already secured streaming rights to the forthcoming Legend special, following the success of Gervais' previous tours, Humanity, Supernature, Armageddon and Mortality, all of which topped the streaming platform's charts.

He has also been working on new material during his recent Ricky Gervais & Friends: New Material Nights shows in London, which continue with two dates at Leicester Square Theatre tonight and tomorrow (July 13 and 14).

Tickets for the new Manchester show go on general sale at 10am on Friday (July 17). His other dates are on sale now.
