Van Morrison has announced 10 additional UK shows for this autumn.

Following huge demand for the Northern Irish blues legend's now sold-out dates at London's British Airways ARC and New Wimbledon Theatre next month, the singer has confirmed a new run of shows that kicks off with two nights in Liverpool on October 8 and 9. He'll then head to Swansea, Bristol, Plymouth, Torquay, Brighton, Glasgow and Edinburgh. Tickets for all new shows go on general sale at 9am on Friday (August 7).

The announcement follows the 80-year-old's summer run of European tour dates and the release of his 48th studio album, 'Somebody Tried To Sell Me A Bridge', in January. The record features guest appearances from Elvin Bishop, Taj Mahal and Buddy Guy, among others.
