Sprints have shared a new single, Trickle Down.

A raw, uncompromising post-punk takedown of the economic system, the politically-charged track follows the Irish quartet's cover of Le Tigre's Deceptacon, which dropped in January, as well as a sold-out US tour. The band said:

"Trickle Down is about watching systems fail in slow motion, housing crisis, rising costs, culture wars, climate collapse, and being told to stay patient. It’s the frustration of a generation stuck in ‘wait mode’ while everything burns."

Sprints will kick off the European leg of their tour next week, ahead of several UK and European festival dates, including appearances at Bearded Theory in May, 2000trees in July and Green Man in August.

The band are touring in support of their second album, 'All That Is Over', released last September via Sub Pop in North America and City Slang across the rest of the world.
