Pixie Lott has released a new single called Dance Like No One's Watching.
Bridging the gap between soul, Motown and festival-ready dance-pop, the summery offering arrives after the London singer let her fans choose her next single, asking Instagram followers to vote between a party anthem or a ballad before letting them pick the song's title. She explained:
"I wanted to let the fans call the shots on this one, which is something I’ve never done before. They voted loud and clear for a massive party record for the summer, and we had this track ready to go. We’ve been test-driving it live on tour with my band at the festivals, and the crowd reaction was just completely undeniable. The energy was so electric that we knew we couldn’t keep it hidden away. It had to come out now."
It follows Lott's spring single Good Wife and 2025's Coming Of Age, her first new music since her fourth album, 2024's 'Encino'. In May, she teamed up with McDonald's to write and record I'm Gonna Be ('79 Miles), a reimagining of The Proclaimers' iconic track, alongside families supported by Ronald McDonald House UK.
The singer recently performed Dance Like No One's Watching at a London Pride event at Heaven Nightclub's G-A-Y and at a pop-up show with DJ AG in Camden earlier this month. Next up, she'll play Portsmouth's Victorious Festival over the August bank holiday weekend.
