Nia Archives has teamed up with Jorja Smith for a new single, Get Me Down.

One for jungle fans, with thumping basslines and dreamy vocals, the collaboration arrives with a video directed by Archives and her close friend and collaborator Jay Douglas, which shows the two aritsts performing the track in a futuristic club-like space. Smith said:

"I loved working with Nia in the studio; it was so inspiring watching her work. Find plug ins, mess around with my vocal. I’m such a fan of hers!!"

The track, which debuted last night at an exclusive event at the Código1530 Penthouse in London, joins earlier singles Vertical, Boys In Blue and Danger in previewing the BRIT-winning and Grammy-nominated British DJ, producer, singer and songwriter's sophomore album, 'Emotional Junglist', due out next Friday (July 17). 

Archives added: "Very gassed to have worked with Jorja on this album, my first ever feature!! Feels like a full circle moment since I did the little things remix in 2023. Working with Jorja is so seamless and we had a lot of fun in the studio - this is one of my favourite tracks on the album."

Archives will kick off a six-date b2b tour around the UK with a set at Sheffield's Forge tomorrow (July 11), before heading to Kingston, Newcastle, Manchester, Bristol and Brighton. She's aslo set to appear at Boardmasters in Newquay and All Points East in London supporting Smith and Tems next month. Tickets are on sale now.

Smith, meanwhile, is set to release her third album, 'What Are The Odds', on August 21, which she recently teased with the single Alive, a dance-ready collaboration with Afrobeats artist Wizkid. More details here.
