AFI will play a five-date UK tour this summer.

The American goth-punks will kick off the trek on August 20 with a new show at London's O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire, before heading to Manchester's Academy, the O2 Institute in Birmingham, Glasgow's SWG3 Galvanizers Yard and Bristol's Prospect Building.

The dates will take place around their previously announced appearance supporting Deftones at Outbreak Festival in London on August 23, which this year forms part of the All Points East concert series. They'll also play Rock en Seine in France on August 28 and a sold-out headline show in Cologne, Germany on August 30.

Later in the year, they'll embark on another leg of North American tour dates, with Choir Boy as support. The run includes a set at Aftershock Festival in Sacramento, California on October 4 and Sick New World in Fort Worth, Texas on October 24.

Tickets for their new London show go on general sale at 10am on Friday (May 29). Their other dates are on sale now.

AFI released their 12th studio album, 'Silver Bleeds The Black Sun...', last October.
