unpeople have returned with a new single, clouds.

Released via SharpTone Records, the hook-laden track pairs ferocious, heavy grooves with pop-punk melodies and, at its core, explores pushing back against pressure, ignoring trends and not chasing approval from others. Frontman Jake Crawford said:

"Clouds is essentially about not letting yourself be influenced by what other people think you should be doing to get ahead artistically, and trusting your own vision and process. I could feel myself being pulled in lots of directions when we started the band and I’m glad we stuck to our guns. I feel like this song is an excellent representation of us doing just that: ‘not buying it’ - i.e. quick fixes or hopping on trends - be it musically or the way we present ourselves as a unit."

The song marks the London-based quartet's first new music of 2026 and arrives ahead of packed summer of festivals, including slots at Slam Dunk, Download and Radar. Tickets are on sale now.

The band, completed by Luke Caley, Meg Mash and Richard Rayner, released their self-titled debut EP in 2024.
