The Maccabees have announced two intimate UK warm-up shows.

The reunited indie-rockers will be joined by special guests Chartreuse at Edinburgh's Corn Exchange and Newcastle's O2 City Hall on July 6 and 7, respectively, ahead of their previously scheduled series of major outdoor shows.

The South London band will begin the run at London's Alexandra Palace Park on July 9, before headlining the Eden Sessions in St Austell on July 11, Siren Bristol on July 23, Truck Festival in Oxfordshire on July 24, On The Beach in Brighton on July 25 and Live at Kirkstall Abbey in Leeds on July 31. 

Tickets for their two new warm-up shows go on general sale at 9am on March 13. Their other dates are on sale now.

Last summer, The Maccabees played shows across Europe and the UK, including a headline performance at London's Victoria Park for the All Points East series. Those gigs marked their first since their farewell concert at London's Alexandra Palace in 2017. They also celebrated the 10th anniversary of their chart-topping latest album, 'Marks To Prove It'.
