Chelmsford Summer Series has revealed another major act for this year's inaugural edition.

Sugababes will top the bill at Central Park on August 28, joined by special guests Annie Mac, Melanie C (who will perform a DJ set), Jodie Harsh and ARTHI.

A second stage will be hosted by house and disco collective Love Sensation, with the line-up still to be announced. Tickets go on general sale at 2pm on April 29.

The three-time BRIT Award-winners — Siobhan Donaghy, Mutya Buena and Keisha Buchanan — released their latest album, 'The Lost Tapes', and its deluxe edition, in 2022. The London trio dropped the single Shook last summer, following earlier tracks Weeds and Jungle. They also appeared on PinkPantheress' 'Fancy Some More?' remix album, released last October. 

They'll also perform within the grounds of Tofte Manor in Bedford on July 5 for the Labyrinth Open Air summer series, with special guests Groove Armada, and Cardiff Castle for Depot In The Castle on July 25, supporting headliners The Wombats. Tickets are on sale now. 

Already announced for the Chelmsford Summer Series are McFly, who will headline on August 29 in a rare homecoming of sorts for the band, with drummer Harry Judd born in Chelmsford and bassist Dougie Poynter from nearby Corringham. Support will come from Twin Atlantic, The Ordinary Boys, Rianne Downey and Olivia Rogers.

New World Festival will also take over Central Park for its fifth anniversary on August 30 with headliner Craig David presents TS5.
