Another single has been shared from Soft Cell's upcoming final album.

In Heaven (When I Dance With You) is a disco-infused pop track from 'Danceteria', the swansong record from singer and frontman Marc Almond and late multi-instrumentalist and producer Dave Ball, due out on September 25 via Republic of Music. Almond said:

"'In Heaven (When I Dance With You)' is a celebration of the early Eighties joyful disco scene. A coming together of the sentiments of the time. I wanted it to be that moment when you run to the dancefloor."

The summery track arrives alongside a UK-only Luv Foundation remix, as well as the album version of the previously shared title track. The album will also feature the duo's earlier single Out Come The Freaks with Nona Hendryx, a cover of Was (Not Was)'s 1981 classic.

After recently completing a run of North American dates supporting The Human League on The Generations Tour, Soft Cell will return in November to perform at the Darker Waves Festival in Huntington Beach, California.

Marc Almond, meanwhile, will continue his run of solo summer shows with a performance supporting ABC and Wet Wet Wet at Live At The Abbey at Made In The 80s! at Northamptonshire's Delapré Abbey this Friday (July 17), followed by a special guest appearance with The Human League at Live At Ludlow Castle in Shropshire the next day and a date with Gary Numan at the Palace Bowl Presents series at London's Crystal Palace Bowl on August 6.
