Orville Peck has announced a new album.

The follow-up to his 2025 EP 'Appaloosa' and his guest-heavy 2024 LP 'Stampede' is called 'Mule' and will be released on September 18 via Warner records. Introducing it online, the American singer-songwriter said: "This record is a chronological account of the year I lost my way."

As a preview, he's shared the a cappella Prologue (Eulogy Of A Man Turned Mule) featuring Emmylou Harris, Noah Cyrus and Allison Russell, as well as the toe-tapping, country-pop lead single Too Little, Too Late. Peck will support his new album with the Man Turned Mule Tour of North America this fall, beginning on October 28 in Sacramento and running through to November 22, when it will conclude in Huntington, New York at The Paramount.

Tickets go on general sale at 10am local time on July 31. $1 from every ticket sold will be donated to The Trevor Project, the leading suicide prevention and crisis intervention nonprofit organization for LGBTQ+ young people.

Prior to his tour, Peck will play Bumbershoot Festival in Seattle on September 6, the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on September 18, Edgefield Concerts on the Lawn in Troutdale, Oregon on September 23 and the KettleHouse Amphitheater in Bonner, Montana on September 26. Tickets are on sale now.
