MWSOG have released a new single, Gododdin.

Inspired by one of the oldest surviving works of Welsh literature, the driving folk-rock track is based on Y Gododdin, the medieval poem by the bard Aneirin.

It follows the seven-piece Welsh collective's earlier single Llef Hir (The Long Cry), released on Dydd Miwsig Cymru/Welsh Language Music Day (February 13), and their debut track, Chwyldro, that arrived last October.

Having just returned from Germany, where they performed at Rudolstadt Festival, they'll play Green Man Festival in Brecon in August and Boia Festival in St Davids, Pembrokeshire in October.
