Lulu has announced her 16th studio album, her first in over a decade.

The follow-up to 2015's 'Making Life Rhyme' is titled 'Let The Girl Sing Out' and will arrive on September 4 via The Orchard. The tracklist is yet to be revealed.

Recorded at the famous Metrophonic Studios in London and co-written with Mark Taylor, Paul Barry and Lulu's brother Billy Lawrie, the album highlights the British pop icon's powerful vocals six decades into her career.

Last night (June 1), Lulu performed a one-off charity show at London's Royal Albert Hall in support of Lulu’s Mental Health Trust, where she performed her hits alongside tracks from the new album, joined by special guests including former Take That bandmates Robbie Williams and Gary Barlow, Australian Eurovision entrant Delta Goodrem, and Boy George.

Next up, she'll play Henley Festival on July 10, followed by two shows in Scotland in August and dates in Brighton, Truro and Salisbury in October. Tickets are on sale now.
