Jorja Smith has outlined plans for her third album.

The BRIT Award-winning singer will release 'What Are The Odds' on August 21, following 2023's 'Falling or Flying' and its 2024 deluxe and reimagined editions.

Produced entirely by frequent collaborator P2J, the 12-track album finds Smith exploring more personal themes, including friendship, grief, growth, self-discovery and love, through a dance-driven sound inspired by UK garage, grime, UK funky, soulful house and Afro house.

Alongside the news, Smith has shared the new single Alive, a dance-ready collaboration with Afrobeats artist Wizkid. It was written and recorded by the pair in London and arrives with a video directed by Gabriel Trautmann and shot in Paris. He said:

"I wanted Alive to feel like one unforgettable summer night. Paris becomes almost another character in the film - full of warmth, movement and possibility. At its heart, it’s a celebration of friendship, connection and the feeling of being completely present in a moment you never want to end."

In addition to Wizkid, the album will also feature grime artist Devlin on the track This City, a new version of his 2010 hit London City, and include Smith's spring single What's Done Is Done.

The album will be released on the same day as Smith's co-headline performance with Tems at London's All Points East in Victoria Park, featuring support from Nia Archives, kwn, Ayra Starr, Odeal, and more. She'll also support Harry Styles in Mexico City this month as part of his Together, Together Tour, followed by her own South American dates in October and November. Tickets are on sale now.
