Jessie Ware has shared another track from her upcoming album.
Serving up a clubby, disco-pop sound that interpolates the iconic theme from Spaghetti Western film The Good, The Bad and The Ugly, Ride marks the second preview of 'Superbloom', her first new album in three years. She said:
"Ride was the first song I wrote for this record. I made it in 2024 with my best friend Jack Peñate and Karma Kid, who feature throughout the album. It’s a song for the clubs, for the dancefloor – fun, cinematic, cheeky and powerful. I first performed it at NYC Downlow at Glastonbury after headlining West Holts, and I’ve been waiting two years to finally put it out. I know others have been waiting too… So here it is. You’re welcome."
The BRIT and Mercury Prize-nominated artist announced last month that the follow-up to 2023's 'That! Feels Good!' will be released on April 10. The tracklist remains under wraps, but the album will feature 13 tracks, including her January single I Could Get Used To This.
