Graham Coxon has announced plans to release a lost 2011 solo album.

The Blur guitarist turned solo star, who's also one half of The Waeve, will drop 'Castle Park' on June 19 as part of a 12-month reissue campaign, which will cover his entire solo discography — including three original soundtracks — beginning with his 1998 solo debut 'The Sky Is Too High' and the 2000 follow-up 'The Golden D'.

Produced by Ben Hillier, who helmed Blur's 'Think Tank', the 10-track 'Castle Park' was recorded in 2011 during the sessions for Coxon's 2012 record 'A+E'. It was originally intended as the follow-up but was shelved to make way for Blur's reunion that year before being abandoned for other projects. 

Alongside the news, Coxon has shared the unearthed record's opening track, Billy Says, which has become a live staple and serves up his signature infectious guitar-pop sound.

He has also announced a career-spanning show at London's O2 Forum Kentish Town on November 28, his first full-band solo gig in over 10 years. Tickets go on general sale at 10am on Friday (April 24).

Coxon's latest studio release came in the form of 2021's 'Superstate', the original soundtrack for the graphic novel of the same name.

The Waeve (his project with Rose Elinor Dougall), released their second album, 'City Lights', in 2024, followed 'City Lights Session (Live)' and the 'Eternal' EP last year. Blur, meanwhile, put out 'The Ballad Of Darren', their first record in eight years, in 2023.
