Ellie Goulding has released her first electronic single.

Pairing hypnotic house production by Dave Hamelin and Jack Rochon with soaring vocals, the club-ready Ravers follows 4 Seasons and Black Prada Dress in previewing the BRIT Award-winner's new album, 'I Know Too Much', due out on September 4.

The track brings Goulding back to her roots in electronic music, a sound that has defined much of her career, following collaborations with Calvin Harris, Four Tet, Skrillex and more. Speaking to Zane Lowe, who premiered Ravers on his Apple Music show, Goulding explained:

"It took me back to a very safe and beautiful place when I was a kid. I grew up listening to electronic music, and it did give me this sense of freedom back... I decided to release it a couple of weeks ago because this is the song that I feel is closest to me right now - my happy place."

The track's video will drop on YouTube at 8am BST tomorrow (August 7).
