{C}{O}{M}{B} have released their debut single.

Taking its title from the Can album of the same name, the dreamy Future Days introduces the unique, experimental, genre-blending sound of Margate-based duo Ollie Briggs and Django Django bassist Jim Dixon.

Having come together by chance after discovering they shared a similar approach to music, as well as a background in art college and a love for Dada, collage and avant-garde performance, the pair said of the track:

"We always embrace mistakes and ‘Future Days’ is a good example of how these different sounds and approaches work together. It started with a chopped up guitar loop that Ollie had and we then spent an evening jamming over it, adding and removing parts as we went: synths, double bass, kalimba, drums, even a piano part on Jim’s kid’s Casio. ‘Future Days’ was a holding title, obviously a Can album, but it stuck!"

Future Days comes with original cover art by Lucy Stein, who is creating a series of artworks inspired by the duo's music, and arrives alongside news that the pair have signed to Brace Yourself Records, with more collaborators to be announced in the coming months as a live band takes shape.
