Blossoms will play an intimate hometown show in Manchester next month.

Fresh from announcing their sixth studio album, 'Songs From The Wedding Cake', and the biggest headline tour of their career, the Stockport indie giants will take the stage for a special one-off peformance at popular independent venue the Deaf Institute (250-capacity) on August 5.

The landmark show will see the band celebrate 10 years since the release of their Mercury Prize-nominated self-titled debut album by performing the record in full. The set will be recorded and released as an exclusive live double CD edition of 'Songs From The Wedding Cake'. Tickets go on general sale at 9.30am on Friday (July 31).

The follow-up to 2024's 'Gary', the subsequent 'Gary's Covers' album and last year's deluxe edition, is set for release on October 2 via ODD SK/Distiller Records. They've already previewed it with the singles Meet Me In Love and Joke About Divorce.

Following the album's release, the five-piece will hit the road for their largest shows to date, calling at Cardiff's Utilita Arena, London's Alexandra Palace, Manchester's Co-op Live, Birmingham's Utilita Arena and Glasgow's OVO Hydro between November 26 and December 11, featuring support from special guests The Royston Club. Tickets are on sale now.
