Asher White has released a new single called Stage Diva.

Delivering the Brooklyn musician's unique catchy pop energy, the guitar-driven track follows The eagle is no omen and Nightingale Version (Sailor's Moon) as the third preview of 'Love Aggregates', due out on August 28 via Joyful Noise. White said of the new song:

"A tongue-in-cheek speculative fantasy of fame and fortune wherein I admit to feeling a little uncertain about the “Point” of developing a pop music enterprise; whether it reflects or belies a true love of the Scene and the Community; what the threshold of public perception is and how it may only be masturbatory ego meglomania. Like if you’re pulling up the DIY show and leaving before it’s over, for example.

“I used to watch you shave…” is about how I once communed with myself while shaving as a meditative workshop in gender dysphoria and vulnerability but as of last year I now only do it in the shower, blindly, where I don’t have to see myself. Musically I was thinking: “I would like to be in Alvvays."

Following a handful of US dates in October, White will embark on her debut UK and Ireland tour, calling in Dublin, Glasgow, Leeds, Manchester, Bristol and Brighton, alongside a set at Pitchfork Music Festival London on November 3. Tickets are on sale now.
