Adam Buxton and Joe Cornish will reunite for a special London show this autumn.
The DIY television pioneers will celebrate 30 years since the debut of their Channel 4 sketch comedy show, The Adam and Joe Show, with an evening at the Royal Albert Hall on November 11.
The duo will look back on the beloved show that defined a generation of late-night television, sharing clips, memories and stories from their work. They said:
"You’re invited to a giant watch party to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of Channel 4’s groundbreaking DIY TV sensation, The Adam and Joe Show, featuring big-screen assisted retro-ramblings from Adam and Joe in person. It’ll be the most fun anyone’s had since the late 90s, with two men who are almost in their late 90s! Toymovies! BaaadDad! The Vinyl Justice Squad! Stupid pranks! The Footie Song! Afflicted with nostalgia? Join thousands of friendly fellow sufferers in a big room and have it cured!”
Tickets go on general sale at 10am on Friday (July 31).
Running for four series between 1996 and 2001, The Adam and Joe Show was created, filmed and hosted by the childhood friends, with its DIY approach to parodying pop culture earning the pair a cult following and a Best Newcomers Award at the Royal Television Society Awards in 1998.
