Opera House
The Opera House is a live music and performance venue basedo n Water Street in Buxton. With a capacity of almost 1,000, it was originally bought at the break of the 20th century by famed designer Frank Matcham, and has survived two world wars to continue to serve locals today. Having evolved from opera house to all-round live performance location, its recently seen names like The Stranglers and Boy George take to its stage.
