The Old Rep is an iconic ad intimate venue that occupies a unique place in theatre history. Opened in 1913 s Britain's first purpose-built repertory theatre, it played a central role in the early careers of many of the UK's most celebrated actors and theatre-makers as the original home of Birmingham Rep. The Old Rep offers extraordinary creative opportunities for the children, young people, artists and communities of Birmingham and beyond, through innovative and collaborative partnerships. Within five years, The Old Rep aims to be recognised as a flagship for the development of the future arts workforce.
