Trevor Horn is a producer and musician from Hertfordshire, England.

First gaining attention as a member of new wave duo The Buggles in 1979, they shot to fame with their global smash single Video Killed the Radio Star, which notably became the first video to ever be played on MTV.

He eventually moved on to join iconic prog-rock band Yes, leaving after a year to focus on his career in production – a move that would see him rapidly become one of the most influential figures in 1980s pop, producing iconic records such as ABC's 'The Lexicon of Love', Frankie Goes to Hollywood's 'Welcome To The Pleasuredome', Slave To The Rhythm by Grace Jones and Yes' Owner Of A Lonely Heart.

He has also released four studio albums as a solo artist, with the latest being 'Echoes: Ancient & Modern' in 2023, and has won countless awards for his work over the years, including three Brit Awards, a Grammy, an Ivor Novello Award for Outstanding Contribution to British Music, and he was appointed Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) in 2011 for his services to the music industry.
