Melanie C is a singer-songwriter from Lancashire, but is perhaps best recognised as Sporty Spice from one of the most successful girl groups of all time: The Spice Girls.

Also made up of Mel B (Scary), Victoria Beckham (Posh), Emma Bunton (Baby) and Geri Halliwell (Ginger), the group quickly became icons of 1990s pop, selling over 100 million records worldwide with hits like Wannabe, 2 Become 1, Spice Up Your Life, Who Do You Think You Are and Say You'll Be There. They also won the coveted BRIT Award for Outstanding Contribution to British Music in 2000, before announcing their split in 2000.

Her debut solo LP, 'Northern Star', landed in 1999 and has since gone on to be awarded triple-platinum status. Throughout her solo career, she released eight albums to date, the most recent being 'I Turn To You' in 2021, and has collaborated with the likes of Bryan Adams on their single When You're Gone, and with Lisa "Left Eye" Lopez on Never Be The Same Again.

Her latest LP, 'Sweat', arrived in May 2026.

Melanie C headlines shows across the UK, Ireland and Europe in autumn 2026, following a series intimate acoustic shows in the spring to support the release of her new album. She'll also head across North America in September, before touring Australia in November.
