Charli XCX—real name Charlotte Aitchison—is a British singer-songwriter from Cambridge.

Starting her music career in 2008, she released her debut album, 'True Romance', in 2013, but it wasn't until she featured on Icona Pop's I Love It and Iggy Azalea's Fancy—which she also co-wrote—that she started to gain notoriety. Since then, she has released seven of her own studio albums, including 2024's Grammy and BRIT Award-winning 'BRAT'.

The aforementioned record became a cultural phenomenon, not only topping the UK charts, but redefining the whole term as a widely used slang word meaning "confident, independent and hedonistic attitude", and even became the Collins Dictionary Word Of The Year as a result. "Brat Summer" and its neon green visuals seeped its way into every corner of popular culture, with Kamala Harris even incorporating it into her 2024 U.S. Presidential election campaign.

She's due to put out an eighth album, 'Music, Fashion, Film', in July 2026.

Charli XCX will headline Reading & Leeds Festival in August 2026, and Chicago's Lollapalooza in July, before embarking on a North American tour in the fall.
