Icona Pop is a Swedish dance and electropop outfit hailing from Stockholm. Formed in 2009 and consisting of Caroline Hjelt and Aino Jawo, the pair are one of the most popular new names in dancepop. Known for their unique style (they say you can 'both laugh and cry with at the same time' while listening to their music), they hit the mainstream thanks to their single 'I Love It'.

They're a majorly cool duo and have been heavily praised by press across the board, receiving awards ranging from Gaffa's Swedish Breakthrough of the Year to Elle Gala's Best Dressed Duo. Their eponymous debut album came out in 2012 and the year after, they re-released a revised version across the globe, hitting Top 40 in the US and selling copies worldwide.
