Starting in 2007 to mark the 800th anniversary of the city, the festival has seen performances from the likes of Lewis Capaldi, Jess Glynne, Maximo Park, Slaves, Wild Beasts, White Lies, The Pigeon Detectives, Everything Everything, British Sea Power, The Twilight Sad, James Blake, Wunderhorse, Anna Calvi, The Mysterines, The Futureheads, Sam Fender, Frank Carter and Rattlesnakes, Frightened Rabbit and Pulled Apart by Horses.
