Radio 1's Big Weekend is annual music event run by the iconic BBC radio station, held in a different UK location each time.

Launched in 2003, the event has seen some huge performances from the biggest names in pop, rock, hip hop and beyond, including Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Lorde, Muse, Foo Fighters, Florence + The Machine, The 1975, David Guetta, Sam Fender, Fall Out Boy, Coldplay, Mumford & Sons, Biffy Clyro, Stormzy, Jonas Brothers, Chase & Status, Bring Me The Horizon, Charli XCX, Sam Fender, The Weeknd, Catfish & The Bottlemen, Tate McRae, Years & Years, Iggy Azalea, Chvrches, Fetty Wap, Stormzy, Tame Impala, Calvin Harris, Wet Leg, Twenty One Pilots, Panic! BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend is back for 2026—this time in Sunderland—with headliners Zara Larsson and Olivia Dean, plus Louis Tomlinson, Skye Newman, Niall Horan, CMAT, Ellie Goulding, Kehlani and Lola Young among the acts also confirmed to perform.
