Young Dolph, born Adolph Thornton Jr, is a hip hop musician and gangster rapper from Memphis, Tennessee.

His first mixtape, 2008's 'Paper Route Campaign', was a success and confirmed his journey into the entertainment industry. He released a long string of mixtapes until his debut studio album, 'King of Memphis', dropped in February 2016 and peaked at #49 on the Billboard 200 chart.

IN early 2017, Dolph was nearly killed in a shooting in Charlotte, North Carolina, and was also victim of a shooting in September that year.

He went on to release 'Bulletproof' on April 1 in 2017, 'Tracking Numbers' with Berner in August the same year, 'Thinking Out Loud' in October that year, and his latest 'Role Model' in September 2018.
