William James Adams - or, as you probably know him better, will.i.am - is an American hip-hop and pop singer-songwriter hailing from Los Angeles, California. Will.i.am is probably best known for his time in pop and rap outfit The Black Eyed Peas, of which he is a founding member, though he has now made a name for himself as a solo artist.

Will.i.am was musically active from a young age, and began rapping in his teens with his friends from high school. He quickly began finding minor success, and formed The Black Eyed Peas - who went on to sign for Interscope in 2000. Releasing two albums, he went on to put his first solo record 'Lost Change' in 2001. He went on releasing a couple of solo records, but worked mostly with The Black Eyed Peas.

Earning major success with the band, it wasn't until 2007's 'Songs About Girls' that his solo work found similar fame, hitting #38 on the Billboard 200. His live shows soon improved to a much higher standard, and will.i.am became a major star in his own right - he's since sold almost 10million singles in the UK alone, as a solo star and with The Black Eyed Peas.

2013 saw him releasing his latest and fourth solo album '#willpower', and his global stardom was confirmed by Top 10 chart finishes in the UK and US, hitting #3 and #9 respectively, and in Europe too. In December, he hits the UK for a brand new tour in support of the record - make sure you don't miss a man in the form of his life and with 15 years of live performances under his belt.
