Ween are an American alt-rock band based in New Hope, Pennsylvania.

The group formed in 1984 by two friends, Aaron Freeman and Mickey Melchiondo. The line-up also currently features Dave Dreiwitz, Claude Coleman Jr. and Glenn McClelland.

Meeting in high school, Freeman and Melchiondo would go on to make eclectic and diverse alt-rock music. The band have released nine albums, with their latest being 2007's 'La Cucaracha'.
