Tom Daley is an Olympic diver and tv personality from Plymouth.

He began diving at the age of seven, and by the time he was 14 he had represented Great Britain at the 2008 Summer Olympics as the country's youngest competitor and the youngest overall to reach a final. He is the first British diver to win four Olympic medals, consisting of three bronze and one gold, and is also a five time European champion and four time Commonwealth Games champion. In 2013, his success caught the attention of ITV, who approached him to become the expert adviser and mentor to the celebrity contestants on ITV celebrity diving show Splash!.

He is also a vocal advocate for LGBT+ rights, calling on Commonwealth countries to repeal their anti-gay laws before the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in 2018 and an active patron of LGBT+ charity Switchboard.
