System Of A Down

System of a Down are an Armenian-American metal band based in Glendale, California.

Formed in 1994, the Grammy-winning band have released five studio albums to date, with the latest being 2005's 'Hypnotize', though they dropped two tracks, Protect The Land and Genocidal Humanoidz, via Bandcamp in 2020 to support the Armenia Fund.

Since then, the members have focused on solo projects. Serj Tankian put out his 'Foundations' EP in September 2024 and will release 'Covers, Collaborations & Collages' in October 2025. Meanwhile, guitarist-songwriter Daron Malakian's band Scars On Broadway released 'Addicted To The Violence' in July 2025.

System Of A Down will be joined by Korn as headliners of the Las Vegas edition of the Sick New World festival in April 2026, before teaming up with Deftones to headline the inaugural Texas edition of the event in October. Between the two, they'll embark on a European stadium tour over the summer with Queens of the Stone Age and Acid Bath, which includes two shows at London's Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
