Sufjan Stevens is an American singer-songwriter and musician hailing from Detroit, Michigan. Born in 1975, he's a talented guitarist, bassist, pianist, and all-round multi-instrumentalist as well as vocalist.

Known for his unique sound, which is an eclectic and ever-evolving blend of indie, folk, pop, baroque, roots rock, psychedelica and electronica (and everything else in between), Stevens has remained at the top of his game for over 15 years.

Over his career, Stevens has released a collection of seven studio albums, finding more and more success with each attempt - his latest record, 'Carrie & Lowell', marked his second Top 10 finish at home and his first Top 10 here in the UK.

Always busy with different projects and collaborations - including his latest venture, hip-hop group Sisyphus, with whom he released a record in 2014 - Stevens is truly one of modern music's hardest working and respected artists.
