Steve Martin is an American actor, comedian, writer, filmmaker, and musician from Waco, Texas.

Martin first hit the spotlight in the '60s as a writer for The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour, and later on Saturday Night Live. He has performed in countless comedy films, and has also forged a successful career as a musician, having released several solo albums and records with his bluegrass band, The Steep Canyon Rangers.

Martin Short is a Canadian-American comedian, actor, voice artist, singer and writer. He is known for his work on the television programs SCTV and Saturday Night Live. Like Martin, he has starred in various comedy films, such as Three Amigos, Innerspace, Three Fugitives, Father Of The Bride, Pure Luck, Captain Ron, Father Of The Bride Part II, The Santa Clause 3 and more. In 1999, he won a Tony Award for his lead performance in a Broadway revival of Little Me.

The pair also star alongside Selena Gomez in the American comedy mystery television series, Only Murders In The Building, which was created by Martin and John Hoffman.
