Scott Ian is an American musician hailing from New York. Most famous for his time as guitarist of thrash legends Anthrax and as rhythm guitarist of metal outfit The Damned Things - as well as being the founding member and guitarist of thrash crossover group Stormtroopers of Death - he's been an active musician and songwriter since 1981. He's also a pro-poker player!

Inspired by AC/DC and their icon Angus Young, Ian helped Anthrax become one of the 'Big Four' of thrash metal (a status they still uphold today), and also pioneered the rap-metal crossover genre after combining Anthrax with rap legends Public Enemy on famous 90s track 'Bring the Noise'.

Nowadays he's a hugely-respected name, and can often be seen on stage doing spoken word when not with his bands, telling crazy stories, awesome anecdotes, and more. He heads to Australia for 'One Man Riot' shows in September 2018 - get tickets below!
