Rush

Rush are a progressive-rock band from Canada.

Formed in 1968, they released their self-titled debut album in 1974, however it wasn't until their 1980 album 'Permanent Waves' that they achieved significant mainstream success. They released their most recent and final studio album, 'Clockwork Angels', in 2012.

Over their five-decade career, Rush earned a dedicated global fanbase and critical acclaim, influencing countless musicians before announcing their retirement in 2018, which was later cemented by Neil Peart's...

Rush are a progressive-rock band from Canada.

However, in October 2025 Rush announced a reunion, with returning members Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson joined by drummer Anika Nilles, who stepped in for the late Peart.

Rush have announced a series of reunion shows, billed as The Fifty Something Tour, which heads across the UK and Europe in spring 2027. Ahead of this, they'll hit North America throughout the second half of 2026, before visiting South America in early 2027.
