Quincy Jones is a record producer, composer, arranger, conductor, actor, musician, television producer, instrumentalist, magazine founder, company executive and humanitarian, originally from Chicago, Illinois.

During his sixty year career, Jones has seen a record 79 Grammy nominations, 28 Grammy awards (including the Legend Award in 1992, one of only 15 people ever to receive it), an Emmy award, 7 Academy Award nominations, and a special Academy Award, the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award.

In 2013, Jones was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame as the winner, alongside Lou Adler, of the Ahmet Ertegun Award. Jones was also named by Time Magazine as one of the most influential jazz musicians of the 20th century, won the Humanitarian Award at the BETS in 2008, the Los Angeles Press Club Visionary Award in 2014, and received an honorary doctorate from the Royal Academy of Music, London, in 2015.

He's worked with musical giants Frank Sinatra, Michael Jackson and Paul McCartney among many others, and has worked on over 35 film soundtracks.

Quincy Jones is one of music's finest in everything he does, and has had a prolific career. In summer 2019 he will celebrate the Soundtrack of the 80s, and lots of Michael Jackson songs, with a live symphony orchestra and support from Beverley Knight, Daley, James Morrison, Jonah Nilsson, Shaun Escoffery and Sheléa.
