OutKast are an American hip-hop outfit hailing from Atlanta, Georgia. Formed in 1992, the band consists of rappers André 'André 3000' Benjamin and Antwan 'Big Boi' Patton, who work alongside a variety of producers, as well as creating their own music.

Blending elements of soul, funk, R&B, electronic, blues, jazz, and rock with hip-hop and rap, they've gone on to become one of the most successful acts of their genre, and have sold over 25 million records worldwide, picking up six Grammy Awards along the way.

Best known for tracks like Hey Ya! and Ms Jackson, OutKast released six studio albums before their split in 2006, with 2003's double album 'Speakerboxxx/The Love Below' by far the most successful, turning 11x platinum in the US alone.

Having truly mastered their style of music and played at some of the biggest stages the world has to offer, OutKast have since decided to get back together following a few years of solo projects and ventures. Now signed to Epic Records, they're spending 2014 touring the world's festival circuit, honouring 20 years since their first LP hit shelves. They'll be in the UK this summer to perform at Wireless Festival in Birmingham and London, as well as a headline slot at Bestival in September.
