The Oakland Raiders are an American Football team hailing from Oakland, California. Founded in 1960, the franchise would relocate to Los Angeles for just over ten years from '82-'94, before returning home to Oakland.

Part of the NFL's AFC West Division, The Raiders would experience a lot of success in the late '60s and '70s, and '70s, where they picked up all of their four Super Bowl wins. However, having managed to make a brief come back in the early '00s, which culminated in an appearance at Super Bowl XXXVII, they're now looking out of contention.

Tied for second place in the list of teams with the longest post-season drought (they haven't reached the playoffs since XXXVII, which was in 2002), fans at the O.co Coliseum will be hoping that new coach Jack Del Rio will be able to change their fortunes.
