Neil Sedaka is an American pop and rock singer-songwriter and musician from New York. He boasts a career that spans over 55 years, notching up an enviable record of selling millions upon millions of records.

Starting his music career in 1957, as a composer at the Brill Building, he launched his pop career in 1958, with The Diary, which reached the Top 15 in the Billboard Hot 200. He had a big hit in 1962, with Breaking Up Is Hard To Do, which hit #1. He returned in the 1970s with 'The Tra-La Days Are Over' in 1973 and ' Sedaka's Back', in 1974. His latest release was a greatest hits album, which came out in 2016.
