The Los Angeles Clippers are an American basketball team hailing from Los Angeles, California. One of two LA-based teams (alongside the Lakers), it was originally founded as the Buffalo Braves back in 1970, before moving to San Diego, and finally Los Angeles in 1984.

Members of the NBA's Western Conference, in which they play in the Pacific Division, the Clippers endured an unfortunate past in which they were overshadowed by the Lakers, but in recent years, their luck has come through.

Thanks to players such as Chris Paul and Blake Griffin, the Clippers would pick up their first division title in 2013, and immediately followed it up with another the following season. They've even been making a statement to their neighbours; in 2013, they sweeped them in their games against each other and finished the season with a better standing, too.
