Dame Julie Elizabeth Andrews - better known simply as Julie Andrews - is an English singer, actress, writer, dancer, director, and choreographer hailing from Surrey. Born in 1935, she's one of the country's favourite singers and film stars, and is possibly best known for her role as Mary Poppins!

Winning an Academy Award for Best Actress for the role, she's also renowned for her parts in West End musicals like Cinderella and My Fair Lady, while she's also featured on television too - including hosting her own shows as well as some alongside Carol Burnett.

Though she's picked up countless awards and accolades over the years, selling countless soundtrack copies and tapes too, she's best experienced live on stage and has an epic theatre voice that one simply must see in the flesh.
