John Mayer is a pop-rock singer-songwriter and musician from Bridgeport, Connecticut, well known for his hit single Your Body Is a Wonderland.

Starting his music career in 1998, he released his debut EP, 'Inside Wants Out' in 1999, which was followed by his debut album, 2001's 'Room for Squares'. It hit number eight on the Billboard Hot 200 and won him a Grammy Award for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance for Your Body Is a Wonderland.

His second album, 2003's 'Heavier Things', gave the singer his first number one album, which turned out to be the first of many, as his following five albums all reached either number one or number two on the Billboard charts. His eighth studio LP, 'Sob Rock' was released in 2021.

John Mayer will embark on a solo acoustic arena tour of the UK and Europe in spring 2024, following a North American leg that runs throughout 2023 that includes a headline slot at Maryland's Oceans Calling Festival in September.
