J Hus—real name Momodou Jallow—is a rapper from London.

Widely credited for pioneering the Afroswing genre in the UK, he was nominated for the BBC Sound of 2017 and the Mercury Prize following the release of his debut album, 'Common Sense', that same year.

He has since followed it up with 'Big Conspiracy' in 2020, followed by his third studio record 'Beautiful And Brutal Yard' in 2023, which earned him his second Mercury Prize nomination.

Now a huge name within his genre and beyond, he has also won a BRIT Award, and collaborated with the likes of Stormzy, Skepta, Ed Sheeran, Drake and Burna Boy.
