Flo Rida—real name Tramar Dillard—is a rapper from Miami Gardens, Florida.

Starting his music career in the late 1990s as a member of rap group The GroundHoggz, he later served as a hype man for 2 Live Crew before signing with Poe Boy Entertainment in 2006, marking the start of his solo career.

He released his debut studio album 'Mail on Sunday' in  2008, which included his breakthrough single Low (featuring T‑Pain) that spent 10 weeks at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, and broke the record for the most digital downloads in a single week, and became the best-selling digital single of the 2000s in the US.

Also known for hit singles such as Right Round, Sugar, Good Feeling, Wild Ones and Whistle, he has released four studio albums to date, with the latest being 2012's 'Wild Ones', and has received five Grammy nominations. He's well known for his collaborations with other artists, which have included Sia, Jason Derulo, Timbaland, David Guetta and Pitbull.
