Cody Simpson is an Australian pop and R&B singer-songwriter hailing from Gold Coast, Queensland. Born in 1997, he was a keen swimmer in his youth, but swapped the speeds for a microphone in the summer of 2009 - a move that would soon prove to pay off.

Now officially one of the world's youngest popstars, he began making a name for himself using YouTube to post his covers of Justin Timberlake, Jason Mraz, and the Jackson 5 - as well as his own tracks. After being discovered by Shawn Campbell - an award-winning record producer - he signed a deal with Atlantic Records.

Releasing his debut EP '4 U' in 2010, Simpson saw his first chart success, hitting #4 in the US Heatseekers chart. It paved the way for some successful singles - such as 'So Listen' ft T Pain - and his debut album 'Paradise', which dropped in October 2012.

Now a regular guest on television shows, this teen-pop star is certainly making a hell of an impact worldwide, more so with his latest LP, 'Surfers Paradise', which made Top 10 in the US and saw his first reach in the UK charts too.

Having toured the UK in summer 2014, Simpson makes his return in 2015, with a European tour that includes three UK shows in May, and a new album in 'Free', due out in the summer.
