Christy Moore is a folk singer-songwriter and guitarist from Newbridge, County Kildare.

Having started his music career in 1969, he has released more than 20 studio albums, including his 1969 debut 'Paddy On The Road', and his latest LP, 2024's 'A Terrible Beauty'.

In 2007, Christy Moore was named Ireland's greatest living musician in RTÉ's People of the Year Awards.
